| | Advisory CommitteeWithin the RISING project, an Advisory Committe have been foreseen which will validate and evaluate project outcomes and results from a strategic and political political point of view. It is a dissemination platform which covers the European and national federations and associations - non-members of the RISING consortium - representing the IWT and co-modal transport and logistics sector. With their general and political feedback related to European strategies, the members of the Advisory Committee will help to reflect on the RISING project trends, developments and technologies. Meetings:2011, February 2nd: Second Advisory Committee meeting in BrusselsOn February 2nd the second meeting of the RISING Advisory Committee convened was held in Brussels. The focus of this meeting was on the RISING demonstrator cases and the market approach currently under evaluation in the project. Representatives of the EU project IRIS Europe II and Platina as well as the RIS Expert Group on Electronic Reporting (ERI) reported on their findings regarding the use of RIS in transport & logistics. In addition the participants discussed some legal and organisational issues of using RIS data for logistic purpuses and gave valuable input the project. 2010, February 9th: First Advisory Committee meeting in BrusselsOn February 9th the RISING Advisory Committee convened to its first meeting in Brussels. European and national organisations as well as federations and associations working in the Inland Waterway Transport (IWT) or intermodal sector answered the invitation. In the course of the meeting the participants discussed the requirement analysis of the RISING project and provided a general and political feedback allowing a reflection on the project and dissemination of the RISING project developments, services and technologies.
